Emily joined our Private Clients team in 2024 after graduating from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, in History and Criminology. Born in Dunedin, and raised in Cromwell, she proudly calls Dunedin home.

Emily's practice area includes:

  • Wills - Preparing and drafting wills to ensure your wishes are clearly recorded. Advising on practical solutions to ensure you assets are protected and to help minimise uncertainty and future disputes.
  • Enduring Powers of Attorneys – Preparing and certifying Enduring Powers of Attorney for Personal Care and Welfare and Property. Discussing options tailored to your personal circumstances.
  •  Trusts – Assisting with a wide range of trust matters, including the formation of trusts, gifting of assets, memoranda of wishes, appointment and removal of trustees, distribution of trust assets to beneficiaries, and the winding up of trusts. 
  • Estate and Succession Planning – Helping to develop tailored strategies for estate and succession planning to ensure future generations are provided for and your assets are protected.

Emily is a member of the Otago Women’s Law Society (OWLS) and the Otago New Practitioners Group. She is also part of the SOULS Tenancy Programme which provides legal advice to students with tenancy issues.
